Mapmaking workflow and 3D visualization support for the popular History Channel investigation series.
Maps at Scale
I designed the mapmaking workflow for The Proof Is Out There for my friend Teddy Gage at Rad Science. Using the GEOLayers plugin for After Effects, I styled the maps and incorporated CSV and GPX data. In addition to shaping the look, I created a workflow to deliver over 120 maps on deadline.
3D Support
I also handled the setup, preliminary animation, and modeling for many of Teddy's 3D visualizations. By prepping scenes for Teddy, he could concentrate on managing the graphics pipeline and delivering the final work to his exacting standards.
